The course is open on all 18 main greens. Buggies allowed but MUST avoid all roped off areas and stick to pathways.
Mill Green has a great way to encourage juniors keen on golf, aged between 4 and 16 years old, to learn how to play golf and improve their skills. We have fun programmes held both after school and at weekends, that monitor their progress and get them playing out on the course as quickly as possible.
As part of the Golf Foundation programme, we instill the values and benefits of playing this great game
Our after school and weekend sessions run concurrently with school term time. The classes are run in in age groups and the children work towards achieving a coloured level, getting them on to the course as quickly as possible.
” A kid grows up a lot faster on the golf course. Golf teaches you how to behave.” – Jack Nicklaus
The Holiday Camp programme accommodates all ages for half day and full day camps. They are a perfect way for juniors to put everything they learn into practice at once. They can develop their skills by playing games in the mornings and playing on the course in the afternoon.
With more time available, they get a much more accurate idea of what it would really be like to play and practice golf professionally.
Birdie Camp (9am-12pm) is for our less experienced golfers focussed on developing all areas of the game and teeing them up to move on to the next level.
Eagle Camp (9am-4pm) is for our slightly more experienced golfers looking to improve their on-course skills, and also for kids ready to make the jump to playing.
“My son is 10 and he is a member. He has his lessons every sat with matt. He has only been playing 6 months and what he has achieved in this short time is impressive. Thanks matt for your effort and enthusiasm!”
